Texas, according to a person familiar with the plans who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the matter. Rogan has more than 14 million followers on Spotify and has long been a top podcaster in the national podcast ratings, and Trump's appearance on the show continues the campaign's efforts to attract young male voters. In recent weeks, Trump has appeared on men's podcasts such as "This Week with Theo Vaughn" and "Full Send," a show hosted by pro-Trump Nelk Boyz. Trump has never appeared on Rogan's podcast, and the relationship between the two has been complicated. In August, President Trump slammed Rogan after the podcaster claimed that both politicians, except for Robert Kennedy Jr., who was running for president at the time, were manipulative. "It'll be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets booed the next time he steps into the UFC ring??? MAGA2024," Trump posted about Rogan, a UFC commentator. Rogan himself has criticized Trump in the past. In July 2022, he called the former president an "existential threat to democracy." However, Rogan has recently spoken highly of Trump, saying last month that the economy under Trump was "very strong and he really tried to curb all the shit that's going on in this country." Trump and Rogan have also had some friendly moments in recent months, greeting each other at UFC events. The two also have common allies, including RFK, who supported Trump after dropping his presidential bid, and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Vice President Kamala Harris is also reportedly in talks to appear on Rogan's podcast. A spokesman for Harris did not immediately respond to a request for comment on her plans.
