Our October cover star Vikrant Massey is coming into his own. Anuradha Choudhary takes note of the metamorphosis.

 

It’s his moment in the spotlight. After years of steadily carving out his place in showbiz, he’s finally stepping fully into the limelight. Vikrant Massey has been making his mark with each role, showing glimpses of his talent in *A Death In The Gunj* and then truly shining with his recent performances. He captivated audiences in *12th Fail*, leaving a lasting impression, only to deliver another knockout performance in *Sector 36* right after. 

And let’s not forget films like *Haseen Dillruba* and *Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba*, which solidified his reputation as a formidable actor. It’s no wonder the industry is buzzing about him. In fact, Aanand L Rai himself believes Massey is one of the few who could fill the shoes of the late, great Irrfan Khan—a high compliment indeed.

This is undoubtedly a high point for Massey. Not only has he recently won his first Filmfare award for *12th Fail*, but he’s also enjoying a new chapter in his personal life, having recently become a father. Life seems to be smiling on him, and he’s embracing every bit of it.
